Okk: Rated "P" for "Poetry" Thu Mar 27 21:50:56 2003 To: Thaygar Cordir all "The Circle" by Nakka as the moon is in the sky greet the sunlight arms up high lose yourself at journey's end said the West Wind to the tree "who is that one that I see?" as the river swiftly rushes "...he is but a man" living his life in the light warding off the dark of night time for him to face the darkness as he kneels down to pray echoes, whispers, he can't stay calls the spirits to his witness *why do you speak?* so others may know *who do you serve?* I serve the will of the Eternal *what do you know?* I know my heart and my thoughts, and nothing more, for the spirit is all *where do you serve?* I am of Heaven, Hell, and this world *why do you live?* to guide the paths of those who walk in shadow *why do you serve?* because I care said the East Wind to the Earth "who is that who seeks rebirth?" as the fire softly crackles "...he is but a man" has he lost or has he won? nay, his journey's just begun "...he is but a man" "...yet he will live again" as the moon is in the sky greet the sunlight arms up high lose yourself at journey's end and find you at the start again ...amen Click here to return to timeline |
