but judging from the vast array of scars that mark his skin, armor, and
belongings, he is not one to trifle with.  Some of the marks seem to be
dents and dings, as if he had stood in one too many hailstorms, and his
clothes and hair has a certain permanent disheveled look, as if ruffled
by the gale force winds of a hurricane or the hands of a certain friend.

Perhaps you stared too long for he abruptly looks up and his chin rises
and his dark blue eyes narrow. Suspicion flows over his face like a sea
tide, and he reaches up to brush a dark, ragged strand of hair from his
face. His expression is one of old mistrust, and a hard, cold arrogance
worn on his sleeve to hide a more vulnerable core. He glares at you, an
aura flaring around his hands as if he were preparing to summon a storm
of nature's fury, and his fingers curl around the haft of his weapon.

'Whaddya want?' he snarls, then glances around, as if looking for some-
one specific. When he does not see her, his guard remains high, and his
expression cold and distant. The aura intensifies around him until it's
nearly blinding in its intensity, and he smirks at your response.
